Walk in the jungle
The next morning - we take the boat to reach our start point
for the jungle walk.
Our guide...
We need to walk through swamps - soon I found
out that my boots have a large hole! Our guide tells
us, that many animals live here and that the
Anaconda can be often seen. My boots are now filled
with mud (and hopefully not with small animals...)

This is the plant for extracting the poison Curare
(Strychnos toxifera).
Busy ants. We ate some with lemon taste.
