Annapurna Base Camp Trek 2:
View from Poon Hill



After an very early morning walk before sunrise from Ghorepani to
Poon Hill (3193m) we have a fantastic view over the Annapurna Range.



The holy Mt. Machhapuchhre on the right side of the view (6993m). Also called
"Fishtail" because the shape. Nobody is allowed to climb this mountain.



Annapurna South (7219m) dominates the view from Poon Hill.
Annapurna I (8091m) is behind Annapurna South.

Dhaulagiri (8167m) on the left side of the view is still covered in clouds.



The clouds disappeared after sunrise and revealed a
breathtaking view of Mt. Dhaulagiri.
